Go ENG Girl 2011

Isabelle Leduc.

Do you have a daughter, a niece or a cousin interested in the fascinating world of engineering? The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ottawa would like to extend a special invitation to her to participate in the seventh annual Go ENG Girl event, which will be held on the University of Ottawa campus, in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science building (SITE), on Saturday, October 1, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This FREE event will give female students in grades 7 to 10 the chance to explore the exciting field of engineering through activities designed just for them!

The goal is to encourage girls to consider studies and careers in engineering by introducing them to fun hands-on experiences and by providing them with female role models they can look up to. Students must be accompanied by an adult, who will have the opportunity to attend interesting information sessions on how they can support and encourage young girls to consider the engineering field.

Students are invited to register through our website.

For more information, or if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Isabelle Leduc by phone at 613 562-5800, extension 6096 .

We thank you for your support in promoting the Go Eng Girl event!
